Exactly. It's different is she was a spiker or MB but she is a libero. Liberos are traditionally the smaller players. Her mini size is an advantage here.

She is a libero (which is obvious from the color of her outfit), so she does not have to play in the front row and so she doesn't need to do high jumps to attack or block. She can't be a regular player in the team, libero is the only role she is suitable for. Yes, she clearly has good reaction and ball control, so if it works for the team, it is fine. However, there are taller players who are just as good at ball control, but also can play in the front row, so they are more versatile. Size still matters, but not so much for a libero, so the team decided to accept small disadvantages of having a short player on libero position probably due to her good defensive and feeder skills.
