I am a pilot with Cape Air...a few days ago I was taxiing on runway 22R when I noticed a female with a camera watching from the roads across the water! Haha maybe that was you?? Great video!:)

+MrLonewarrior6 Captain my Captain! I WISH that was me, but I am not in beautiful Boston at the moment. If I was there, I would love to film your take off or landing! I have never been able to get a pilot to wave to me, even when just "lined up and waiting" for quite a while! Maybe some day! Cape Air has the most beautiful liveries - it is a great little airline! :)

Hey Jen, how long have you been spotting at Logan??? I used tosspot there all the time!! I was born in Salem in 1981 and grew up in Billerica. I fell in love with avaition in 1996 and actually went to North Shore Community College for the professional pilot program, I have my private liscence along with my instrument rating. My dad and mom used to take me to the top of Terminal B parking garage in the mid and late 1990's to spot. They would leave every 30 minutes and take a new parking ticket because back then the first 30minutes of parking was free lol such great parents!! Oh man the TWA L1011's, Aer Lingus 747-100's, Sabena DC-10's, Delta L1011s and 727's, ATA L1011s, Virgin 747-100/200's, Burlington Air Wxpress and Evergreen International DC-8's....I wish I had a time machine!!! I even had the joy and pleasure to fly out of spot from the original/old Terminal A lol and terminal D as well!! Hell my great uncle worked for Northeast "The Yellowbirds" Airlines after WWII and through the early 1980s and then delta after the merger at the old delta offices and hangar I miss the old Logan sooooooo much!!! I live in Arlington now with my gf and we have a little 4 legged friend as well;) a sweet little 9lb deer head chihuahua:)

+HayastAnFedayi That is awesome - hello Captain!!! :) And great info - thank you so much for sharing!!! Your parents were wonderful to take you spotting. I love Boston Logan - and it HAS changed so much. So many airlines have come and gone over the years. There is a great group of spotters that are out all the time - you, your girlfriend and pup should definitely catch up with everyone! A bunch of folks will be spotting from Constitution Beach on Sunday afternoon if you can make it! :)
