Part 2 OWSJ entails practical calculation of member section using the basic Stress formula (F=P/A) . With the help of ASEP steel manual, the value of allowable stress can be easily found once the ratio of length over radius of gyration of a trial section has been calculated.

Sir bali eto naman po yung nacompute ko Top Chord=77.029KN (Compression) Bottom Chord=69.387KN (Tension) Members=9.138KN kinonsider ko po sa method of section yung uniform distributed load... paghindi naconsider hindi na po siya mageequilibrium correct me if im wrong sir maraming salamat po sa video mga video niyo sir Engr.

Sir, after makuha yong reactions sa end supports pwede na bah hindi na computin yong horizontal, vertical at diagonal stresses sa support at lulundag na deretso mag compute ng stresses sa gitna kasi mas malaki ang mga stresses sa gitna kaysa sa support at yun din naman ang gagamitin sa sizing.

Sir pewde po bah gamitin ang design process na ito sa ibang structural shape? Like rectagular and square tube and steel pipe?

Hello po Sir may tanong lang po ako about sa double angle bar na back to back, kung ecocombined ang dalawang angle ang magiging shape nya ay parang tee, kung gusto kung e calculate ang moment of enertia Ix&Iy at iba pang properties ng section na yon as double angle pwede ko po bah sya e treat as TEE section? At wala po bang problema doon kung gagamitin ang magiging result sa design?
