I spent my entire Saturday searching for Graphite and Kaolinite; Found a graphite vein, but it was only 7 pieces... Finally found a huge kaolinite strain too... Made my crucible and quit for the weekend; probably 5+ hours running around. Success came through finding cave systems and prospect picking my way through them. I will need to find more graphite for all the fire bricks needed still. Jealous of your andesite. I want to get in to Create, but no andesite yet and no signs of it within 1000 blocks in any direction. If I can figure out how to get to the nether, I could make some out using quartz-diorite-andesite path. Might have to do that. Will have to check how to get the obsidian though.

That's how I'm spending my Sunday. And I just found Graphite in a marble area! Well, the prospectors pick did. Now to zero in on it.

@@jangrogames Hope it turns out to be a big vein! I started out in a Marble/Gneiss area and still haven't found any, so it is a great find.

okay, I am dumb... you can use a wide variety of igneous extrusive (like Rhylolite and Basalt) to make the Create zinc alloys - not just andesite. Glad I figured that one out.

Kill spiders, make silk socks. So that you don't overheat in light jacket weather. What's worse, dying of heatstroke when it's slightly chilly, or dying of console?

I don’t know, that’s a toss up. I’ll tell you what, I considered doing this series in hardcore. It is surely doable but it wouldn’t have been the best content. More like Mr Roger’s neighborhood, “we’re going to spend the day in the house friends, and perhaps tend the garden so we can eat some garlic and live another day.”

24x20 = 480 string. Probably not worth the time 😅 I've never seen the sluice before, that's great! Easy to automate if you can make a hopper 🙃

Hmm, did I say 280? yeah, I meant 480. That would take a LONG time as the spawn rate is really slow. Unless I could speed up the spawner. Need to see if that apotheosis functionality is in there. Why are we not seeing industrial hemp. Is that blocked from growing? If I can get some more jute going, burlap is the other option I think. The sluice is SO much better than panning.

oh and yeah. hopper? I mean I can make one now, but I'm not sure that's where I want to spend five hard-won wrought iron!

@@jangrogames Definitely not worth it now! You can just pop back over before the stuff despawns; once you have seen it work a few times :)
