Words cannot describe how excited and grateful I am for this series resurrection. I LOVED feed the world 11 years ago the nostalgia is so REAL 🕺🏻

That green building you found is a grain silo, would be good for your farm for decor. Also mekanism has the windmills for power that would look better for your farm
@TENGILLАй бұрын
Yes i am confused as to why he did not go with that. He used that and waterwheels in the last series, so perhaps he just wants to try something different?
@sjinАй бұрын
maybe but the mekanism windmills don't look super great, I really want to pay homage to the original feed the world and use seed oil for power

What a nostalgia. It hit me hard like 10 years ago. I love the fact that u don’t hurry up for resources and spend quality time building things one by one. As a yt Minecraft farmer, I wish u a good season! Ps: I wish u make 10 episodes /day tbh. Very nostalgic!

Afaik the Iron Furnace can pull and push items and fuel on its own. So you it could have sufficed to stick it beside/onto the drawer and add a barrel full of coal on any of its sides

Lava needs solution: Get ten dripstone blocks, and ten of the spikes as well as making ten cauldrons. You will need 10 lava to get started, but after this, you'll never need to grab lava again. Build yourself a structure to contain the following going from the floor up: 2x5 cauldrons, 2x5 dripstone stone spikes, 2x5 dripstone blocks, 2x5 lava blocks. Make sure to cover the tops and side of the lava to prevent fires. Bam! infinite lava generation forever. The lava will drip down into the cauldrons and fill them passively, so there will pretty much always be lava there for you. Also, point of note: The green "Hot air ballon" isn't a hot air balloon. It's essentially a silo, and it has some farm adjacent stuff in it.
@sethbutler7065Ай бұрын
To make this easier Functional storage has a dripping upgrade to auto generate the lava into a fluid drawer and its not based on random tick speed
@JefAlanLongАй бұрын
@@sethbutler7065yep plenty of lava farms more efficient than a vanilla one. Blaze rods (maybe powder?) into integrated dynamics is pretty good early game too. This pack also has an infinite lava ME disk which you can get onto pretty early...

Iron furnaces can be configured to pull and push directly to adjacent inventories. Fuel and the item to smelt can be configured differently. Just click the cog on the top left... I would have put the iron furnace on or behind the cobble drawer and then the output chest above or to the side of the furnace with a third adjacent drawer on the furnace for fuel if you hadn't done the factory upgrade. Pipez work really well but I've never liked the look of them with the default textures.
@ladykarengale4977Ай бұрын
with the fruit trees, once the fruit is fully mature, you should just be able to right click on it to gather it without destroying it, so it can grow more afterwards, making it renewable

@Beef_WittedАй бұрын
I hate to tell you but the furnace set up is actually unnecessary. You can generate stone with the cobblegen. You need to place the gen down and put a piece of stone inside, on one side a lava source and the other an infinite water source. The water is consumed each time it makes a stone block but the infinite source solves this. 2x2 square works perfect.

Each side of a heat generator receives heat to create more power. If you space them out and put lava on top of the generator with the lava running down touching all four sides, you'll get more heat. (You can pipe the power out the bottom.) Also, Iron Furnaces allows you to define an output side. If you put your chest right next to the furnace and configure the furnace to output to that side, you can skip piping from the furnace to the chest.

that iron furnace can auto insert and auto extract. you didn't need any pipes going into or out of it. just set it next to the inventories you want as its input and output and configure it accordingly.

If you need more power, try surround the generators with lava, even lava-logging them. Each side that is exposed to lava will add to the power gen.

You can also change the ‘item mode’ on the meka tanks with shift and scroll wheel (while tank is selected in hotbar). Saves you a keybind (which we all know are limited and difficult to remember... Also the iron furnace has a configuration tab hidden behind a gear (cog) icon in its GUI, you can set it to push outputs, pull inputs on each side, so you didn’t need the ugly pipes, stick the furnace directly over the lava and beside the drawer of cobble, have it pull its input in, put the sophisticated chest on the other side of furnace, set the furnace to push stone into it. ;) And.. why is it ethical to burn fuel from hemp but not from wood? They grow equally quickly in minecraft.

for the mek heat generators, you need three lava source blocks in order to cover all six sides plus the generator block itself. one source on top that will flow around the sides and bottom. one source crouch-clicked onto the same blockspace as the generator; sort of lavalogged. and if you use mekanism power lines, you can also lavalog that pipe to get the side it's coming out of. otherwise, you'll only get five sides plus the center. if you get all seven "sides", each heat genny should produce around 40 rf/t. actual value depends on the pack. sometimes it's like 46, sometimes less than 40.

I can't get the cobble gen to produce cobble, only stone lol. I tried wrenches and putting the lava and water on different sides, but it always wants to produce cooked stone. It's not a problem, it eats the water block each time, but I just set up an infinite water source there and it takes from that. Saves me cooking the cobble I guess, but I feel like a bit of a dummy.

I have to disagree with Sjin. The gifts of the wise men were quite wise and were prophetic: Gold because He is the King of Kings, Myrrh for his burial when he was killed for our sins, and Frankincense as He is our High Priest forever before the Father in Heaven. Also solar panels with batteries would be a good ethical choice for power.
