JRC Speaks for itself, Have had the very earlier JJRC, XJRC..models. All great Quads. Reliable and Good value.. These things learnt me how to crash safely. Have you tried Hubsan Zino (the normal or the Pro) ? Those have pretty damn good cameras and gimbals. Far better than in SJRC Those should be pretty cheap soon because they are pushing out new models. I got my Zino pro a year ago for 320$ with two batteries. No problems and no regrets.

Thx for the review. $200 fine wow you could buy a second F11 4k pro for that money :P I suppose they use 720p video transmission instead of 1080p in order to extend the video range. The 4K footage look really good. I think that the 2-axis gimbal with EIS! is the golden ratio in terms of power consumption over 3-axis. Does it has a 1080p @60fps option as well like the hs720E and bugs b12 has?

Did you check the maximal range of flight upwards and sidewards? It should have automatic return mode on control signal loss, that would be interesting to test. Also, competitors come with 3-axis gimbal these days, your video looks smooth, but flight conditions were not shaky, i wonder how 2-axis gimbal copes with fast flight and windy flight.

Hi Andrew, Great Video. I instantly recognised Eastern Park from a couple of previous visits. (I'm based in Melbourne). Mine drone arrived yesterday so I've already had a play with it locally. But I can't find an SD card that it accepts. I have tried about 4 different brands including Sandisk Ulter and Samsung EVO, both 32GB. The app simply says that the card needs formatting. Is there a special format that it requires - something done via the app (not that I could find an option)? Regards Murray

I had the same issue. Formatted to FAT32 in the computer and it worked for me.

After reformatting an SD Card, it still gave the same error message. I had searched previously for an option in the app to format it but didn't find it. Today I clicked on the error message, and about a second later, it said that the card was formatted correctly - that's all it took - if only I'd know sooner. :-)

I see that the flight battery charging time is listed as 4.5 hours, and I am assuming this is because a USB charger is supplied which limits the charge speed. Is there any provision for charging it with a hobby charger?

My end goal is the Mavic Air 2 which I believe is all I need. I love photography, but not to any anal degree, I just need nice footage for when I am out on my motorcycles - and I still think THIS drone (The SJRC F11 4K) is the best one for this phase in my education, before splashing out on the Air 2. Cant say I'm an expert but this is the best of the cheapies I have tried. It's not small or light weight but it works well. Mavis Mini is still much better but cant handle any wind.

I was interested maybe I'm something like the spark which I know is discontinued and seeing how youtube and social media don't take 4k yet maybe you know of something similar to the spark and it gesture features. I'm fine with 1080p 60fps but it was to be under the 250g weight. So something small with great 1080p 60fps minimum video for youtube and gesture support like track , hand gesture. Can you think of something similar to what I'm looking for ? Thank you in advance for your great videos

@@KingTheDetailer The only drone you will get under 250 grams that wont die on your first flight is the dji mini 1 or 2. The original Mavic air is good and can usually be bought heavily discounted(until they are all sold) but only flies for about 12-16 mins. for sub $200 US this is as good as it gets. I have tried the best of the others (l109, the beast, etc.) and most are disappointing .

Imo you're getting a pretty bad ass drone for around for the price I have recently seen refurbished dji spark fly more combo's for 300 usd but id still go with this since if flies longer, has solid image, good range and you can get 3 batteries while still paying less than a used spark

The f11 4k pro gives me high hopes for the "budget" drone market going forward. Theres a drone by zlrc that has just been released(this past week) and it is supposed to be even better than the f11 4k pro. It comes in at/around US$200, has a 3 axis gimbal with eis, a 1/2" Sony sensor, 1.5km fpv range and 35 minute flight time. *It is called the zlrc f911 max* Maybe you can bring us a review of it since you did a wonderful job reviewing the f11 pro 4k.

I just ordered the sjrc f11 pro 4k online for $300au, I was contemplating the dji mavic mini they were going for $500 second hand on fb marketplace and the new mavic mini 2 $750 new from my basic research I didnt think it was worth spending nearly double for the dji mini just for a few more features unless you are a pro photographer and really need it looks like from your review I made the right choice

Yes a gimbal allows for much more movement in the quad, EIS can only stabilise a few degrees of movement.

Check out Bugs 12 ( no gimbal) review by Quad101 on a windy day the EIS gives a smooth video but since GPS is fighting the wind to stay the result on video is smooth but "Tilted". Kinda like shooting on a tripod with one shorter leg on a level surface. Not to say the other drone is inferior they both have their pros n cons.

Overall good vid but don't you think drone companies can be about misleading on what there particular drone can do example flight time and some even say 4k video when clearly it doesn't I've got the jjrcx12 that's a 3 axis gimbal and does pretty much what that does for roughly the same price.theres lots of drones on the market and some are really crap.

Tend to err towards caution but since we have to provide our own usb charger can you share what the output used on charger and were you just trying to peak charge on the last led. Its hard to trust these smart batteries since charging non prop batteries you can actually see the amp lower towards peak charge on hobby grade chargers.

you must live in a nice place if i try and fly in a park i get the police called on me then Logan city council come down with $600 fines and close the park to flying

Yes we are lucky in Geelong. Need a permit from the council but we have lots of open space.
