Ive watched NL pretty regularly for like the last 6-7 years. I dip my toes into the vtuber ocean every now and then so I've only seen a couple Fauna clips. This shit is absolutely hysterical to me. The reality that a pretty popular vtuber is doing NL bits on the reg has me in stitches. Especially with how obscure his references are. MAN this feels surreal seeing everything strung together and now knowing we are at the end of the journey just makes this more ethereal in a sense. This feels like one of those side quests that goes parallel with the main quest, it starts at the beginning and ends at the end too. It's not the main quest, but it's length is just the same and so is your appreciation of it. It's just another destiny beside the one you're mainly walking on.

Discovering that so much of Fauna's humor and taste in content has been influenced by NL was a little surreal honestly. The origin of resin is in fact baseball lingo. Pitchers would use resin to get more grip on the ball and increase the spin to make it harder to hit. It's illegal, mostly, but hard to detect initially.

I love seeing chains of inspiration like this. So long as humans love and respect you can almost always trace inspirations down back to the dawn of time. Of course this is amplified by media such as scrolls, books, photos, the internet, etc. which preserve the works of people, and subsequently, the people themselves, for future generations to be inspired by.
