Skagen Hagen Connected Hybrid Smartwatch Review

It would be cool to see the color indicator from this watch work in conjecture with the hands method of the Fossil watch. You could set more notifications that way. The small hand could point to the different colors to differentiate which type of notification came in (white for a text, grey for a call, etc.) and the normal hands could point to the corresponding number of each contact.

Bit of background. Skagen is a Danish company. It's also a city, the northernmost city in Denmark, and a pretty cool place as the eastern and western coastline ends in a narrow tip, so you can stand on the beach with all of Denmark between your legs XD Also if you go to Scandinavia, or bump into a Scandinavian, be careful with comparing Denmark and Sweden, it can easily land you in a heated debate.

They discount this design(Arabic number instead of sticks) of the series deeply, does this mean this will get a successor soon? Should I get this or Fossil Q Grant gen 2 or Garmin Fenix 5 or Tissot T Touch Expert Solar?

I really like the idea oh a hybrid. Skagen are great but this is too thick for my tastes. I look forward to a year or two down the line when they can half the bulkiness.

Hey guys maybe you can help me. I have the same skagen connected and for notifications i can say my dad, it shows the one, my mum the two and so on but i cant choose any colour for that. Do you know anything about it!

I can't find anywhere if this watch has a stopwatch, could anyone tell me please if it has it, because it is such an easy option to implement yet so handy. ty in advance

Where is the watch's serial number? I thought authentic Skagen watches all have serial numbers. The one on mine is right above the "All stainless steel."

How exactly does the music control work on this watch? Is it only the bottom button that has a music control function or can you set it up that the upper button skips track forward, the middle one is play/pause and the bottom one is previous track?

Tomas Bataitis i think the third button is for every kind of music control. You press it once play/pause, two clicks next title and if you hold it, it plays the title before Sorry my english is terrible

Fossil. Because the Skagen doesn’t have calendar alerts.

You should put some tape on the calipers and then zero it with the tape on, that way you won't scratch the watch :) Kudos for a neat review! :)

I can't connect my calendar to my Fossil Q Crewmaster. In fact, most apps on my phone are missing from the list of apps to receive notifications from.

Ed Krisiak It has a calendar, look at the numbers at the edge of the white dial. The calendar was demoed to me in the stores, on of the watch hands moves to the date on demand.

Terrible watch, you have to change the battery after 9 months? It would still make more sense to have it rechargeable and thinner.
