GREAT explanation on "sustained anchor" Ed! That said, I wonder if even YOU wonder that so many people struggle with the term? CAN I convince you that maaaayyyybbeeee it's not sustained "anchor" (because the anchor in fact MOVES), but rather "Sustained LOADING"? You LOAD the rod immediately, then sustain that LOAD at a CONSTANT level, even whilst the anchor MOVES (being dragged) along the loading path. Think about it... - cheers, Mark Vogt
