The Cog before you make any changes in the shipyard, has its main square able to turn far more than if you were to modify and put on the 9ft square from the shipyard. Something unique about the unaltered Cog. Found the same with the Dhow far more stable and can hold course much better than a shipyard-modified one. All the starting ships unchanged must have some tweaks you lose when you modify them.

I sailed my brig to Gold Rock City shipyard. No matter what I do it's always "no boat in the shipyard".

Hi, Kenni Clown. Yep, I tested my brig as well. Apparently, the brig is not able to reconfigure... at this time.

You can move the sail up and down to avoid obstructions.

Stick a big gaff on the boat and you'll end up going much faster. It should only cost you a few hundred gold, and you'll have a great time with it. Swapping out the jib for a genoa (a bigger jib) really helps as well, and shouldn't cost much more than 200 or so + shipyard fee. The main benefit of getting rid of the cabin is being able to see around you, and not having a stairway straight in front of the helm, so you can see where you're going.

I had the same message once... make sure you are dock beside the cranes, tied off to the dock, possibly both ropes. What region are you in? DC, Al'Ankh or Aestrin??

I just sailed over to GRC from Neverdin in the brig. "No Boat In Shipyard" same msg. you're getting. Do you think it might be the brig itself bugged?? I would love to add a bow spritz sail on the front, etc.
