Is the handle only taped or sewn and taped? I have a couple years old 12L Pod (Sarek Gear back then) and this summer the handle taping gave up when I had quite lot of food in the pod.

Hi, thanks for the feedback! we still only tape the handle on as we haven't had any issues on that at all. But might be worth adding a bartack on there for extra support

@@Backpackinglightse The weight was clearly on the heavy side as it was the first night of the trip and there was over 3 kilos of food inside. I usually hang my food bags on the handle straps of my trekking poles so that mice and other little animals cannot get into the bags.

Sorry not to be that guy but just taping products together and not sewing them is the laziest thing I have ever heard. I also make my own gear and would never ever dream of not sewing things together. The handle and seems will 100% fail if not sewn and quite quickly into the products life. With that criticism in mind I really love the packing pod ecosystems and it is a product worth making. Keep up the good work but please actually sew the pods and handles together. Just my opinion.
