This brings a whole new meaning to the scene where Isak literally tells Even "I don't need crazy people in my life" when talking about his mother. And right after that, that's when Even gets back with Sonya, most likely because he thought Isak wouldn't want to be with him if he knew the truth.

Yeah! And also right after that Even says that his parents would have loved him and kisses Isak for the last time because he thought that was the end of it. I think that scene is so heartbreaking but Isak is oblivious to all of that :(

the ending of this episode was... so emotional. i mean you could start to see all the clues put together about even and see isaks face when he starts to realize, and then sonja spilling it to isak... ugh so tense i honestly was prepared for much worse like that direction and acting made me soo scared

First, that kitchen scene is one of my favorite scenes they're the absolute CUTEST MY HEART DOES A THING. This episode is a masterpiece. Especially that ending everything about it was so chilling and on another level. I got so scared too the first time and my mind went to a lot darker places too i thought something really dark/scary was gonna happen. The whole scene felt so uneasy and the way it was shot and everything was done so so well to make you feel that way. The actors who play Isak and Even are so amazing and talented. The way Isak was running around looking for Even with his voice shaking, i really felt his nervousness and fear. I loved your reaction soso much it was a lot like mine. The Sonya scene just BROKE my heart, and seeing Isak's expression evaporated the pieces. I can't wait to see your reaction to the next episode aaaah also i love listening to your commentary so much!

Aw, I wanted to hear the Evak-rant! And your right, their chemistry... well, it creates the feelings they act, I think that covers it, possibly? The whole show is so real so it feels like they are people you actually know rather than characters and thats rather beautiful really: it gives you access to your own emotions and I felt like it hapened to me; I "talked" to him the way you do when you react. "I feel it in my bones" - you were so right (but yet not so right you could have been, thank god), but you were much more observant than me: I was just so taken by Even that I couldn't notice the warning signs ("You have to do what Even says" - well, yeah that covers it), and it wasn't until afterwards I remembered all the warning signs and put them together. You make a good analysis of Isak's feelings, you feel really empathetic as a person. Sorry for writing so much!=)

Now we get why Even left Isak a few eps back. Isak said he didn't want to be around people with mental health issues, said it clearly. Even thinks, "Oh then I need to leave you be cuz I will only disappoint you."

Ik this is acting but have you seen the way isak’s pupils are dialated (easiest to notice ep 5) when they’re lying next to eachother i- (Maybe the actor has naturally dialated eyes all the time but...) btw dialated eyes r a sign that you love someone ngl Im prolly reaching but do I care ? No.
