​‪@JayCactusTV‬ and I show you how to make a hard dark trap beat from scratch inside fl studio 20. Jay Cactus shows you how to make and flip your own melodies. Jay Cactus starts of by making a crazy chord progression using a piano. He then switches the sound for a sound from Mellotron from Arturia. He guides you through everything and explains what he is doing and adding to the melody. To give the mellotron sound some more ambience he layers it with a sound from analog lab from Arturia. To finish the melody he adds some one shot sounds and a percussion loop which Jay Cactus halftimes. Last Jay Cactus adds a sub bass and some effects to really make everything blend together. Skana Beats then start chopping up the melody. Skana Beats speeds up the tempo and adds halftime to the melody. Skana then starts adding the drums. The 808 Skana is using is from his upcoming drumkit. It is a really short and punchy 808. For the verse he adds another 808 from his Astral Drumkit to switch it up. The hihats Skana added were inspired by Southside from 808 mafia. After the whole beat is done Skana structures the melody.
