5 cube is what I run I’m tuned to 27hz can play down to 21hz clean usually the more cube the lower your box had to have been in the 4 cube range boss 🤙

Whether it's Birchwood 13 ply, double baffle, tuned to whatever you need and even have some glue it and screw it boxes, which is what I have so it's a nice insight to see how a box even goes together in first place and price isn't that hard on the wallets. Great customer service and it's like a 2 to 3 week wait until you receive it so it's not that long of a wait in my opinion.

Just a little bit of caution my guy. I'd recommend matching the gain setting to the output voltage of the head unit or the DSP if you're using one. It may sound ok now but in the long run it's the best way to maintain the subs. Not hating, just looking out for a brother with a little expert advice.

Them DDXs can almost be run hard from the jump without being broken in they built like tanks! But it's better to be safe than sorry...also it doesn't take as much power to get those as loud...the sensitivity score is like a 88-89 on them

You can play any sub hard right from the jump. Being broke in means exactly just that, that it's broke in. Only way to break it in is to give it power. After a sub is broke in, its parameters change a bit and the fs will be lower than before broke in.

Great choice on the subs and enclosure! I also got 2 Skar DDX, however I got 2 10" 2-OhmDVC, powered by 2 Sundown Audio SFB-2000D (one to each sub) wired at 1 ohm. I also got 2 Skar 3.5" super tweeters and 2 4x5 Door speakers powered by a Taramps 440 with a Dayton Audio 408 DSP. These DDX's LOVE big enclosures!! Mine's custom made, but is 3.75ft3 tuned to 34Hz. Ive never heard 2 10's beat so hard in my life! These subs are bangin for $135/Ea!! Skar is def the BEST budget sub out there hands down.

Sounds good I never heard the ddx in person but that box is beautiful. I think the biggest i could go length wise was 31 so it’s a single 12” for me. Your subs hit hard. How would you compare to the sdrs you had? I recommend putting the battery on the side you got alot of space to play with and maybe you can push the box back some. I put my xp2000 on the side it doesn’t move at all.

More bat and power runs and ALWAYS use ofc copper not cca copper oxygen free can carry the same power as a six time bigger diameter of copper clad aluminium "cca".. so always OFC copper 5n and above preferably and I assure you your system will come alive... power ground and speaker runs all ofc and get lithium is top mods... amp the subs. Stay loud bro. Ps there us a reason audiophiles home audio nuts spend 40 k for a meter long power cable ect. Ifc makes all the difference.🔉💪🔉

Honestly for now I just drilled a hole big enough to get the wires through from the subs to the amp coning out the box. But Amazon has terminal cups for the low. I just haven’t really had time to pull everything out and install one

You should consider reinforcing the box with wood screws cause them Brad nails gonna loose they grip after some abuse. Just remember you need to drill a 1/8 pilot hole to avoid splitting if you do bro
