Shimo has hax. Not necessarily power. The ice beams shouldn't even bother king Ghidorah much. He flies in deep space (near absolute zero temps). Shimu seems to defuse any energy into a lesser form weakening it? She can be killed, but it's trickier to do than normal. Shimu = subzero = eis shenron type.

​@jaboy150 Adam wingard tye director of gvk confirmed that if godzilla wasn't tired or if he didn't fight kong which lasted for 12 hours the situation would've been completely different. Godzilla was extremely exhausted,weak,depleted of energy and did not have any hollow earth energy which mecha godzilla had since the beginning. If godzilla had come out of hibernation with full energy then he definitely would have won IMO

@Dino_Dude420 not exactly in GXK she was being controlled by skar forcefully and she was half distorted and half of her mind wasn't even controlled properly that's why she was crashing most of the time.some speculations state that she was the one who froze ghidorah.godzilla couldn't do any serious damage to her IMO and tossed godzilla around. Once she was freed from skars control she was genuinely confused where she had end up. If shimo was not controlled forcefully she would've definitely been a threat to humanity if she wanted that. But right now she's a peaceful titan

In the official novelization of GxK, it was stated that Godzillas Spiral ray was the strongest attack he has ever done, meaning it is stronger than Thermos pulse that was burning Ghidorah away. There are more statements that say Evolved Godzilla was equal in power to Thermonuclear Godzilla but Evolved was more controlled.

The new Godzilla x kong novel details got leaked they explain a lot that happened in the movie but they also showed MechaGodzilla parts are at monarch, they said shimos existence may spur on governments to take over hollow earth leading to a world ending event, its said Shimo is 100% confirmed to be the one to freeze Ghidorah which makes sense because why would Shimo even fight Godzilla if she’s not mind controlled at that point, I personally think scar king saw how strong Shimo was to freeze King Ghidorah and that’s what caused him to want to take control of Shimo.

Mechagodzilla is less power than Godzilla and weaker than Kong so he gets beat instantly. The explanation is that Godzilla and Kong both survived an more powerful Godzilla axe but Mechagodzilla couldn’t also Mechagodzilla was stated to be doing nothing to Godzilla on killing wise as well as it having no way for killing Godzilla not even the kiss of death while he was at around 45% power.
