You gotta remember that in that Haffey section he did some tricks no one had even thought of before let alone seen. Eg. @4:06 I remember at the time people who saw a new trick Haffey had invented and trying to explain it and people not understanding it until they got to see it for themselves. That is part of why Haffey s the goat.

They are both incredible. That huge rail that Chris did around 2:58 was crazy.

Aragon amazing, but Haffey was first and I grew up watching Haffey. But really how can you even compare the two, theyre both equally on another level in their own ways.

Both amazing. Aragon makes it look better.

This is the first time seeing the iconic 540 top soul rail grind. Brian is literally insane. Has to go to him 💯%

i think you should've tried to keep the sections you chose a little closer in era .. because you know skating was emerging with different style when game theory was made. you should've put one of aragons straight jacket sections or something but good video. i always watch! keep up the good work bro

I did consider that, but since this is the first video of this kind, I wanted to go with my personal favorite section from each.

Can't really choose man.. both are legends in the sport. Brian's style and fluidity is unmatched but Haffey's hammers hit a little harder. split decision.

If you give each video a score, you can stack rank all videos of all time. Tho that would open an even bigger can of worms.

Just going off from memory, and not based on the quality of the section but the skill level of the skaters themselves, I was going to say Haffey probably went a little bigger with the hammers, and Aragon was probably a little more technically proficient and stylish... but after re-watching these sections I may have been wrong on both accounts. They are honestly so equal it's hard to make a decision.

That's my assessment too . . . hard to deny the technical proficiency of Aragon or the amplitude of Haffey.

Bro I don’t know 🤷♂️ how it can play out AG got switch ups on some obstacles but haffey is a full blown beast bro AG use to say whit out no issues the minute haffey pulls up to comps every one is sweating 🥵 bc they know he will force u to go big or go home each spot u look 👀 at Chris doing is like seeing motor cross on skates for AG is nice slick combos both of them are straight killers but if u talking about stunts Chris is the guy u call he is a king 👑 of skating by chosen by skaters ,But every pro athlete has his own style of skate that’s why u have different styles of skate people But also u have DL people forget what he did and bring to the skate world
