It's no different than how Nike has sponsored Street League. If Nike sponsored this instead of the Navy then it'd be a bunch of Nike commercials.
@TheRickyp837 жыл бұрын
Neither does the Navy. POLITICIANS get the military sent to die. You shouldn't hate the military, we need them. It's the politicians which abuse the power of the military you should be hating. By the way, last I checked Nike was pretty damn exploitative of millions of 3rd world people. They force 15 year olds to work day and night and even put nets outside of buildings to keep people from jumping out and killing themselves. They pay them like 70 cents per hour with no benefits to make a shoe that cost them a total of $5 bucks to make then turn around and sell them to you for anywhere from $40-$200.

I can't believe how commercial the x games have become. I remember watching in the 90s and it was still seen as like a fringe thing and no one thought it would stick around as a competition. It's cool in a way that it's become so big and these people are accepted as real athletes but the commercialization sucks. And it's a real bummer that they removed in line skating from the competition.
Always happens to me I’ve been hearing for years bob is the best to ever do it.. I finally watch a full length contest and again the guy I’m thinking is going to win it all fails to even make one... ( I know he’s a lot older than these guys and has done it already many times...just saying it always happens when I finally decide to check it out )

Story time! When I was 14 I boarded down a paved road called snake hill in Arkansas. As I was on my way up my parents had arrived to pick me up (my friend lived near the bottom of the hill) "oh he is on his way down now" my friend said. I ended up going about 45 mph lol. I started and picked up speed fast.. we never tried this before. Having to unexpectedly hurl my weight around the curves to not fly off the drop off into a rocky creek on the right side.. at about 45 mph and there is an intersection with Golf Rd at the bottom of the hill... Where I hit pea gravel and flew off my board.. through the air.. landing on my elbow and my side, still sliding for many feet before jumping up and "very casually" got my board and walked to my parent's car as watched the entire thing. I got in the back of the car and said "I'm fine" as I put my arm to rest on the window.. I saw the skin in my elbow was all peeled back with little pieces if gravel in it.. I just picked them out and put my skin back in place and it healed nicely no help needed. Lol! Is one of my craziest moments of childhood. Glad to share it hear! Skate hard! I wish I had been able to keep up skating but I was hit by a car while riding a bike when I was 15.. but xgames woulda been a jam I am sure.
