With Spring finally here and no more snow on the ground, it time to break the ground on many items on the "To Do" list! But with the pandemic going on and the province in full lock down, it meant that i was gonna be on my own to tackle everything
I have been dreaming of owning a piece of land to build a Skaters Paradise for a long time and now the biggest step, finding and buying the best spot is done! After many years of volunteer work a Projet 45, i will now put my acquired skills to the development of the Skateboard Ranch, some kind of Skateboarding retreat where one can get away from the city and the plague of the razor scooter in their local park. Like any DIY endeavour, The whole project will take some time to take shape but with a lot of hard work and help from my friends, I'm pretty sure this is the beginning of something unique.

Thanks so much! I have to admit that it is not easy everyday to get motivated and get working, sometimes it seems like their is so much to do that i don’t know where to start! I still do my nest to keep the ball rolling every day and then I look back after a bit and realize how much i managed to get done.

I'm a bit late to your channel but what a channel it is! I hope you weren't too hard on yourself about the chainsaw. You're taking on such an enormous project which requires so ability in so many areas. It's an accident which i'm guessing you've moved ahead smarter because of it. I hope to travel from the other side of the world to camp, cut wood, drink a beer, have a skate and shake your hand one day. If you build it, we will come! 🤘

I have been a lot more careful with the chainsaw, its always when you start to feel too confident that mistakes happens, so i try to always stay alert and wear my protective pants every time I use it. If you ever plan to come to canada it will be a pleasure to show you around my little piece of paradise!

Thanks so much! Concrete it is for sure, unless somebody gives me a ramp or something like that, everything at the ranch will be concrete. Its the best way to go, but you got to plan it well cause its there for a long time! And yes, never again without the safety pants!

Thanks so much! I’m really happy with the results so far, still a lot to do but it is rewarding to stop and look back at the progress sometimes! The longer format seems to be performing really well so far but it is so much more work to edit and do the voice over. I spent so many hours organizing all the footage to have a narrative that makes sens. I’m almost discouraged at the prospect of doing an another one haha but it will pass, i always feel the same after each episode haha
