Thank u for the advice of wearing in the 187's! I just got mine and they fit but slightly tight. Hopefully with some wear they will be perfect

I would say to get some pads where the cap reaches down to the shin. To test the knee pad, put them on and hit the ground on your knees. Make sure they cap and pad is there for protection.

I have found the Atom's last really well. We have far more returns from the other brands here (although we also sell more). It's true they have less protection, but they are light weight and low profile.

the problem with the atom knee pads is that the fabric is weak, so the pads fall, and that the knee is not very protected.

What's the sizing like in the Atoms? I've found Scabs L/XL to be waaaaay bigger than 187 Derby Pro XL - so much so, I could probably have gotten the S/M in them. Also what's the fastening on the Atoms? Fanks :) - For extra cheeky points, could you maybe do an Arius mounting video & go through the whole centre lining bit *really* slowly

D Pearman Hi, the Atom knee pads slide on and have a velcro strap at the top and bottom to secure. They are stretchy, so you'll probably find you will fit in a medium or a large depending on how tight you want them. they are a good fit, so you'll find that the do not move around much on your leg ;-)
