I think you are the only person that breaks down trick tips for more advanced tricks like this and I applaud you for it kind sir. Also thank you so much for not just saying "First you kickflip, then you crooked grind" those kinds of trick tips absolutely irk me.

I can't stress enough how important it is to go parallel. At first t's tempting to apprach with an angle, but that shit's gonna make you get into a nose slide everytime, believe me.

I wouldn’t mind a kickflip noseslide 😂 seems like it would be harder

Not in a million years was my frist thought when I read the title. But then crooks are my go-tp grind and I have a decent kickflip - one I also tend to land with my front foot more on the nose. Imma have to give that tweaked kickflip to nose on flat a go at the very least.

Frontside is such a fun trick on an open ended curb. The key things that helped me were to ease my nose into the ledge, rather than attacking the ledge by slamming down, or into it with force. To do this, you approach the curb as parallel as possible, nollie, get part of your nose on, barely turn, and press down. The final piece to the puzzle is to lock your leading shoulder in the direction you want to slide. It will keep you from over turning, and getting stopped by your wheels.

Please do a hardflip frontside noseslide trick tip. The hardflip naturally wants to flow into that direction. But I find the timing, gauging distance to ledge, and actual slide on way down a challenge for sure. Wanted to see your take.

Killer, man. Awesome work! Why not post a tutorial of my favorite slide trick out, the BS Nose Slide 270 Shove-it out?
@averageuser51964 жыл бұрын
I find this trick really difficult. For me the biggest problem is that I get the 270 rotation but it also half flips so I land on the board uppside down. If your close, what worked for me was really focusing on scooping with my front foot, forward across the top of the ledge to stop the board flipping. One other good tip is to do it near the end of the ledge because the shuv tends to hit the inside of the ledge. Other than that stand in a nosestall and practice doing the 270 shuv out before trying to do it out of a fully committed noseslide, you'll learn it 10 times quicker imo.
@snbwz4 жыл бұрын
kingbigdog Yeah, I’ve got the trick down. I just know that if he made a tutorial video of it, it’d be dope! I push down on the nose as if I’m popping out to get that good scoop. Really helps!

Thanks I watched this and the Coyote Rob Shreds video and went outside and managed to start kickflipping into crooked stalls on a ledge much easier than I thought I would! Going to start rolling faster once I get them a bit more consistent. Also, I practiced kickflipping into the crook position on flat, then onto a small slab, and then my foot high ledge and it was a surprisingly easy progression.

Could you say something about where you should be looking when doing this and other flip-in tricks? I find that I can’t do a kickflip noseslide unless I look for my catch, which is weird because I’m used to looking at the ledge when aiming a noseslide

I’m trying to do this without the kickflip. My problem is I get into it every time,but my foot comes off my board a bit and hits the ledge, making me stick. This is very frustrating,because the odd chance my foot doesn’t hit it I land it . Tips appreciated!
