Kalis is an OG as well as a pioneer in skating. So much swag and drip way before so many other skaters. That East Coast vibe him and Stevie brought to the game was legendary shit. Changed the entire skate culture upside down on it's head.

Man I remember seeing Josh as a kid in person back in the 90s I believe at a skate park in Beloit Wisconsin for a skate shop the stations second location and won a EXP alien workshop board that he then signed for me. Such a cool dude! Great memory! Wish I still had the board unfortunately it got jacked. Cool video!

I had the Kalis 1's... I think they weighed about 26 pounds, but it was like having a sofa on your foot in terms of comfort, and there was no way you were wearing through the toe. The air pocket was the weak link. When mine cracked after a few months they got super squeaky.
