lets just hope that there are difficulty setting or some sort in the full release. as far as i know there are mods in the pre released on PC that could tweak difficulties in the game. i would surely love to play the game on a realistic level.

If you play on pc there is an easy fix, it's called stats mod, you can have realistic physics, realistic jump height and board rotation, also board wear and snap. You also get different deck types and sizes, that mod pretty much completes the game if you dont care about the graphics

It's basically an indie game if I'm not mistaken. The controls are very different. You use one analog stick for each foot, there are a couple of gameplay videos around. The rest I don't know.

People understand that the developers who made skate 4 are no longer open. Black box productions are who made skate while Collaborating with EA. Their contract ended and so did the game. It’s been 13 years. I’m just glad SOMEONE out there cares and we’re getting not one but TWO skate games. Let’s all just be appreciative of these INDY companies. Plus if your skeptical just check out some of the thousands of gameplay online. Believe me, it’s looks great.

There's another skating game called Sessions that was announced while back for Xbox e3, it looks like they both have the same mechanics, the way to tricks and the both use real life skate spots, would have been cool if both studios callob together to make a giant skate game

@@shotzcapalot turning with triggers , each stick is a feet not like skate that one stick is for both feet and the other for turning either way you can get used to it but i personally prefer session over skater xl

clearly this is made by a smaller team so ya'll need to scale back your expectations a bit. i imagine it's tough for a dev team to compete in a game genre that is used to having: millions of dollars in funding from the publisher like Tony Hawk and Skate and sponsorship's from real life skate co's like thrasher and chocolate This is the equivalent of trying to make a madden game with no rights to the NFL or help from EA
