Skater XL - Fire Station Park now available in the Mod Browser

Fire Station Park is now available in the Skater XL Mod Browser on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC coinciding with the grand opening of the brand new park in Fort Worth, Texas. The park was made possible by a generous donation from Dickies Skateboarding, and the construction is now complete, making it available in both physical and digital formats.
The park is designed to be accessible to skaters of all skill levels and has a real city plaza feel, offering unique terrain and lines to be discovered. With banks placed generously around the perimeter and ledges galore, the map's diverse terrain provides infinite opportunities for flowing lines and technical skating.
Similar to the physical park, the Skater XL map includes a pump track with grindable corners and unique angles, enabling players to get creative and find new lines. Special thanks go to New Line Skateparks and Dickies for collaborating on this project, and we are stoked to see the footage that players create at this park!

If you use dawgs map editor you can get out of the map and skate some of the stuff outside that is axtually splined, the tennis court bleachers for example.. not much fun but different views of the sky, nice backgrounds for photos

Technically, that’s EXACTLY what they did… and continue to do. (Or well, not do). They made all their money off of selling broken promises to console player’s.. And they just go into the mod browser and find map’s and other content that other people make, add it to their game and call it there’s.. (I play on PC, just built my new gaming PC specifically for modded SXL because I was so sick of the lack of content and more importantly, no stats menu or anything). But I played this earlier and realized that it’s VERY similar to a map that’s been on the mod browser for quite a few month’s.. (I forget the name of it) Also, (not that I really care cuz I don’t play it) but wasn’t this game supposed to come out for that handheld console? (Also forget what they’re called).. just remember 1st hearing that they weren’t doing it anymore, then they were.. But I still haven’t seen it.

Looks awsome. But as a console player the game is really boring. Just got session an it has like 10x the content that you guys have. At least put in more maps (like one a week or something) just to make the game fresh. Playing the same like 15-20 maps is not rly fun. Plus PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add a stats menu!

I literally built a gaming PC so I can have mod’s in SXL.. so trust me when I tell you that even if Easy Day we’re able to let console player’s play PC map’s, it would still suck ass and be boring af.. Being able to have a stat’s menu was the main reason I built my PC. And I knew Easy Day was never going to do a stat’s menu. (I personally think mainly because the main stat’s menu that everyone on PC uses was made by Dawgvinci.. and him and Dane (one of the Dev’s at Easy Day) didn’t like each other, so I don’t see Dane allowing anything resembling Dawg’s work ever being in the game..) that’s just my own personal opinion..

@@p-manz-dude4437 Well, if it helps, I really thought the same thing.. that is until I seen the difference in price between a gaming PC that’s already built, versus a gaming PC that you actually have to build yourself.. it’s MUCH cheaper! I also never realized this part either, aside from the amount of game’s that aren’t on console being ridiculous.. The games that I’ve been so used to over the years like GTA, Assassin’s Creed, etc, I never knew how much cheaper all these games actually are versus buying them for console.. (and that even goes for brand new games).. I bought GTA V on PC on sale for $8.. then obviously being able to get mods for that game is also another huge reason I built my gaming PC.. Then I’d go and buy a brand new just dropped game, and I’d still only be paying like $30 MAX! So you not only get way better graphics and more to do through the use of PC, but the $ the game’s cost is so ridiculously cheap, I actually got sick to my stomach knowing how much $ I’ve thrown away over the year’s buying console game’s for $60 a pop (and that’s w/o tax).. If you have a bunch of games that you personally bought, all of the money you lost out on, you could easily have built your own PC.. So trust me, I get the whole “thinking it’s crazy expensive to have a gaming PC” thing.. that’s what I thought too, and sure, initially at first, it is expensive.. but if your a gamer anyways, and you know your going to continue to buy games, I highly advise you to just build your own gaming PC… the $ you save from game’s alone is worth it imo.

At the end of the day there's just nothing here. No reason or incentive to keep playing. The game seems all but abandoned by devs. Tight controls and a sim type gameplay feel remind you of Skate 3, but at least that game gave you a reason to keep playing. I can't recommend buying this. Update: They have the nerve to add a store with goods purchased with real world $$ to this incomplete garbage. The frame rates now also dip to single digits mid trick rendering this game virtually unplayable at times. AVOID

Besides the complaints, guys I really love this game😏 It's the closest to skateboarding in real life, and I love the control inputs, it all makes since, like how do you go back to single stick 🛹 games?🙃 Tell someone to trey flip crooked grind, an a person will actually have to know how to skate & or know what it is & how to even pull it off, I love it☺️ Thank you so much for this.
