in case anyone still has this problem the current 2 versions of unity mod manager are not compatible with the alpha build of xl so downgrade to a older version of the mod manager this worked for me

I tried doing this on steam deck but when I downloaded the UnityModManager, I cant seem to locate the actual installer. I have files ending in .dll .exe .xml. and Config.xml. How do I get the actual installer to show?

Although i downloaded everything on unity mod manager and status is OK for all of them, when i load in and click press to start, it stays on the loading screen forever. And on the UMM screen It says status need restart(red) ANd after i keep restarting it but it is still red, whats my problem

This means you have the wrong version of UnityModManager for the game you're installing mods into, even if you clicked the right link and got all the right stuff you gotta make sure to delete old versions of UMM as they might still open up when you try to open the new one you just downloaded. So all you gotta do is remove all UnityModManagers from your computer, download the right one for your game and it'll work. You can confirm which version of UnityModManager you have opened by looking at the 'Current Version' 0.27.4 is for alpha 0.27.7 is for public

I just followed this all the way and still when i opened the game its vanilla and mod manager or no mods pop up?? Also i been playing an old backed up version of skater xl ror a minute since that one update mad long ago when everyone thought it would make mods not work.. if i delete my first unity mod manager will that make backed up game not be modded to or will it still be good? Im wondering if thats why but mind u when i got the new mod manager i had no mods in it till getting all new versions and dragging in etc so idk

Yo thanks for this I've finally gotten into XL after years of session. 1 question I have with the xxlmod3 is how to increase your turn radius to have loose feeling trucks not just the deck fx loose trucks. Like actual loose trucks to turn sharper I can't find the setting for it.

Sometimes! Not all the time, usually just gotta restart and try again. If it never opens ever though then you might wanna recheck your mods

the XXL mod only works on Skater XL version 1.2.2.8, if you try to put it into Skater XL v1.2.7.8 it'll show up as a red dot.

You'll need to check which versions of each and make sure they're compatible. Skater XL Alpha v1.2.2.8 = UnityModManager v0.27.4 Skater XL Public v1.2.7.8 = UnityModManager v0.27.7

*, если что, в программе 8bitdo (у меня ultimate bluetooth controller) нельзя сделать так, чтобы к осям магнититься. Стики очень чувствительны/точны. Раньше играл на speedlink за 20-30$, там сильно к осям магнитило/был совсем не чувствителен, не было таких проблем.

The good news is, SXL is not hard on your PC so it works really well on even a potato. Just 3gb (alpha version) and 5gb (public). So if you have a decent lil PC laying around, grab it
