They really need to show console players more love. Allow us to customize our game the same way PC players are able to, why would that be such a bad thing to do?

Installed this game after a year of not playing it yesterday.... Lasted about 20 minutes before I uninstalled it again and went back to Session, another abandoned half-ass skateboarding game. Though I do admit it felt wayyyyy more solid than it used to.... it just lacks any content making it worth playing.

I got all the mods and milky stats n settings and my game still dont look like that what am i missing???😩

going to school at the school where ramp 48 was at makes this insane to me used to go there almost everyday as a kid and to see it in a video game is insanity gotta have this map

I had to reinstall windows last year and never felt like setting up the mods again

used to be a content creator for this game years ago , sad to see it fall but it does indeed suck as a game without the community behind it. even that being said the community sucks to.

XL on console is unplayable

Just imagine if they treated this game like an mmo. constant updates and work on the animations. It seems like once they got to this animation style they said done. This game should be updated like a normal live service game. Sadly this will never happen cause they consider it done. I could give a fuck less about maps.

I’m surprised after all these years nobody has made a mod to stop the hands clipping into your body on essentially every trick. Also when you do a heelflip there’s an annoying canned animation when you land that looks kind of lame - atleast when it’s every time.

i play skater xl on pc vanilla and i love it

If it wasn't for mods nobody would remember this game. The base game right now is pretty janky.

This is the Alpha branch right? I was playing on public but it doesn't look that good then this version so I'll probably change it although I am gonna miss the better transition skating.

Skater XL has always stood out to me for it's mods and user created content.

Ppl need to understand that milkys stats and playing styles took YEARS to dial down and bro is the goat for posting his stats for these maps becauss honestly noooobody is fcukign with SkaterXL WITH mods! if you seriously are still out here talking greasy about sxl WITH mods after watching this video then I'm sorry but someone needs to use your face for the SXL universe mascot version of the Blind Skateboards brand 😅

All they have to do is lower the gravity on console and I’d be right back into this game man. So disappointing considering in theory it’s such an easy solution

I had to cross to session especially on console as I jus can't get behind a dev that releases maps like u get Christmas presents aka once a year I actually gave my copy away as I couldn't drive myself to sell a shell of a game

To be honest, I think I’m pretty tired with both Session and Skater XL. They both are fun don’t get me wrong, but I feel like the devs have been lacking in innovation. Session still doesn’t have a realistic Goofy stance (and I play Goofy), and Skater XL rarely receives updates in-game plus by the devs. I also would like a more story focused game; Session has that slightly, but it’s really just challenges with a little bit of dialogue. And Skater XL just has challenges. I think I’m going to just wait for the new skate since Session and Skater got stale for me personally

Is there any way to flip the controls to make skating goofy the same inputs as skating regs?

These new maps look like they fit mods better aswell, I love it!
