I totally agree! Skatie..your videos are concise, the explanations clear and you are very specific about edges, weight transfer etc. I have stopped watching other instructional videos on youtube because yours are truly the best

I've tried to do this a couple of times. I'm too worried about my skates bumping into each other. I also think I need to practice the swirls (I just watched that video). Excellent content. Thank you so much.

I never hear from you anymore. I really hope I didn't say anything wrong. I left a couple of comments a month - month and half ago back, and never got replies. I don't remember exactly I said, but I think I asked a couple of questions. Sorry to be annoying, but your videos are very helpful to me. I find them to help me progress in my skating. This one here (for example) has provided me with a way to sharpen my backwards cross pull. Really, how long have you been skating? How old are you now?
@Skatie2 ай бұрын
Hi. Sorry I’m really behind on answering the comments. Cameraman keeps reminding me. I’ll have to set some time aside to catch up. I’ve skated all my life. I competitively skated from around 12 years old until around 21. Then went back in 2009 until 2015. Now I just skate for myself. It’s my happy place.
@dave_dave2 ай бұрын
@@Skatie Is there a way I could connect with you? Maybe ask some more questions, I had one day wanted to become competitive and or at least skate in a more competitive manner. I am 39 and I just started rolling about 6 months ago. Is it possible to become that good in this lifetime?
@VeeBee812 жыл бұрын
So... the foot that isn't lifting off the ground is steering? So it does move a bit? Just doesn't come off the ground.
@Skatie2 жыл бұрын
Yes, that’s correct, the front foot is always on an inside edge to take you around the corner 💕🛼🙂
