Great job story. You can tighten the wheels a tiny bit for story since she is just starting then start loosening them up once she starts getting better. Also another trick and this also works with learning how to ride a bike is learn to skate in an area that has grass instead of pavement.

Good for you Story you are so brave. You know Story it’s good to practice on grass in case you stumble you get the grass it is softer than the stone or cement road. You ‘re a fast learner. Keep on practising like ehen you learn how to swim. Bravo Story.

This was really fun vlog! I thought at one time there was a spot in where people skated - I saw it last year's vlog - it was a building but there were hardly any walls but there was a floor. but it could be for skateboarding though. There is a Siargao Skate Park that has a little area she can practice and out of the roadway, clean flat cement. . Jay and Sacha are really good in encouraging and motivating Story. Keep the helmet on so Story will not be afraid to fall forward. It was a big step for her to be able to stand up on it without help. Don't be afraid to fall - getting up builds courage and determination. Good start, less we forget the child is only four years old. It is also great that Story can follow Sacha as a live example other than just seeing it on screen. Do it more often while the weather is dry because rain comes back in June.

I can really tell Sacha had loads of fun! I think Story needs to use the balance bike on the straight road to practice that balance which will translate to the skates on the flat ground.

i admire Story's courage and determination to try on her new skating skills, she did a great job being a first timer, trying to skate on her own and getting up after every fall... soon we will see her gliding like a pro! there must be a safer place around there to skate with some hand rails if possible but somehow you learn faster with some obstacles around. it took Sacha to get a feel of skating again .. next time skating from pole to pole!
