I'm not really a skateboarder but I do appreciate the sport and find this type of thing kind of cool. It's really cool that even if someone can't skate a spot they can still visit the location and appreciate the history of it. I think its similar to going to a place where a movie or TV show was filmed or something. I think it would be hilarious if there was an organization that paid for plaques to be put up like 'skateboard historical points of interest' or something.

It look like the regular stance riders have a (slightly) easier time with it because they can angle across the bank more, with a better view of the landing and the street - the goofys have to change where they’re looking as soon as they land it. Incredible either way 🙌🏼
