Yep, some people get the wheelbite all right, either a riser, get some harder bushing or tighten those puppies down. Glad you enjoyed the ride baby.

That's the beauty of longboarding though. It can be whatever you want it to be. No one is forcing you to go 50 or do a 100 ft slide, but you can if you want to. You can also just cruise down a mellow hill and do some dancing. Its all up to you, and its all for fun.

yeah i started because of how chill longboarding was! It was cool just to cruise along and cross step, but now you have to go 50 mph or do some insane skateboard moves. Adam squared is the epitome of what i think longboarding should be.

Bushings are the little urethane piece in the trucks. When you turn the truck compresses the bushing.

@HaunBomb This is the same reason why I started. I don't care about the sliding and tricks, it just looked like good college transportation and good fun. It is definitely a work out for transportation, more so than walking! I plan on starting to learn to dance on it soon.

its what rebounds your truck into place after a turn, or makes a turn easy or hard to make, but they work in accordance with how tight you like your trucks, i skate soft and loose! other skate tight and hard its all personal pref, you wanna turn on a die, soft and loose, you want stability,or if your new, hard and tight!

Hey I have a question for Adam or Adam :P You dudes have inspired me to buy my first longboard this hanukah. So I will have no experience when it comes to riding one, infact I've only seen one in my life and that was just a random person on the streets :D. I am 5 3" weigh 105lbs and I am 14 years old. I want a board that can carve hard, dance nicely, and do some flip tricks. I like how the NS Heist looks. What do you think I should get? Sorry for such a long comment btw :P
