Great battle report, always love to see some lumineth. One little note about the "blind the enemy" BT, it says cast, it dosen't matter if the spell is unbinded.

Hi friends! Luka, I want to point out, that a warlock bombardier is not able to overcharge these warplightning cannons. It needs to be a warlock engineer. I also prefer the bombardier, but unfortunatly only the engineer buffs cannons. (bombardier has no engineer keyword on its warscroll). Great game, cheers

Glad you said something because when I saw this it threw me off. I had to go back and check my warscroll. Bombardier without engineer keyword was a huge sadface. Ever since then I’ve struggled to willingly bring the engineer in his place.

@@johnjennings5666 A warlock engineer often seems useless, just standing by the cannons. It feels like you would spend 100 points just to overcharge your cannons, but you may utilize an engineer in additional ways. For example if you run a list with stormfiends, take the 'more and more warppower' spell on the engineer to also buff these. AND remember that you may 'unleash hell' with you cannons, when you get charged and during that may overcharge using your engineer.

@@johnjennings5666Also, if you decide to bring an engineer, dont run only one cannon. the effective cost on an engineer shrinks, as you put more cannons on the field. Example: you have 1 cannon and add 1 engineer (100pts) to buff it, you may then bring another cannon and the engineers value (in terms of buffing a cannon is doubled). If you even bring 3 cannons, place them in a triangle and put the engineer in the middle, you tripple its value, since there is no limit on how many cannons one engineer may overcharge during one phase ;).

My son and I were really liking the gaming mat and how clean the table looked with simple terrain. I will say that with the regular dice and those yellow dice it is very easy to read. Once In a while some dice blend with the terrain and studio lights making it hard for my old eyes to see but this was great today! I’m watching miniwargaming nevertheless. Thank you all for everything you do.

Love how casually Luka said there wasn't a seventh editon Skaven battle tome. That's right kids, unless you were Empire or Space Marines you didn't get a codex every edtion. And if you did play Space Marines you might get two codexes an editon.

For anyone wondering where those gorgeous looking fox mounts came from in the Lumineth army. I believe they're at "Lost Kingdom Miniatures" the name of the unit the foxes were sourced from looks to be the "Nibi Raiders". While I havent 3D printed them for myself to *fully* compare. They look close enough that I can say with confidence that they're the source. Since the foxes have two tails in both this video and the Lost Kingdom unit. I hope this helps any aspiring Lumineth/Wind Temple enthusiasts do some cool stuff with these models in the future!

I was wondering that as well. But I believe the search is finally over. Look up "Lost Kingdom Miniatures" in their range of "Mori Elves". There is a unit called the "Nibi Raiders" which I strongly believe to be the fox mounts used in this video. Since they both have two tails.

Gutter Runner also need to Show Up on Turn 1 🙂. 43:57 clanrats can Retreat and Charge but bait and Trap says 2 Units Retreat and 2 different Charge so wouldve dropped your battletactic 48:57 cant add to a reroll anyway 😉

I like to put a five man blade lord unit with my twins. Twins are scinari so the bladelords can protect them until they get stronger later on. Those six models can really do good work.

You don't have an engineer. The bombardier and arch warlock don't have the engineer keyword anymore.

IT IS TRUEEEE, this way the same case last edition. I believe they allowed Bombardiers to count after an errata, it would seem that ONLY Engineers work here! Luckily they are the same point cost!

@lukapavicevic335 correct in 2nd all skryre heroes had the engineer keyword. I think they did it this way for internal balance. With bombardiers and engineers being the same price, there wouldn't have been a reason to choose the engineer. Now, each skryre hero has a different role. The engineer is pure support. The bombardier is for buffing stormfiends and providing fire support. The arch warlock is now a tanky wizard. In fact, I think he's skaven's only native 3+ save.

​@aidenhodge5569 he's not necessarily better at buffing them, but he is got a gun that can be effective just behind the stormfiends. He's able to buff them and directly contribute to the fight. The engineer has an 8" pistol, so he can't really help with the shooting and the arch warlock has a once per game mortal wound gun. It's also short range, so they're not particularly good at shooting.

If you use reroll can't use primal. And dawnrider ability needs to be triggered as you might say want to split attacks so don't want to limit only vs 1 unit.

Rolling double 6s and throwing any primal dice in it doesn't make it irresistible. You still need at least a 6 from a primal dice.

I think the fox while still piling away from enemys 6 inches when he piles he still has to be within 3 inch of an enemy model, so basicly cant leave combat. Ive seen people play it wrong. So far everything is gucci 🙂
