After all these years I didn’t know she lost her daughter! She had her children so young (Pre ABBA) as did I but not that young I’m 60 now. If I lost any of my children, even though they are 41,38, and 35 I cannot imagine the pain, and she’s so sensitive, she still cares about her fans. What a wonderful woman.

I love this interview, don’t get me wrong, and I love his work! But I feel as though he doesn’t respond very well to all the important stuff she says about herself, and her life. Like the writing, the ecology she is VERY amazed by, the pennies she would collect from Norway, and the story about the fan that passed away in the end. All these little things, are important to her life. It might be a time or script issue, but I just wish she’d know how much she’s appreciated as a human being. She went through so much in her life. She is deeply admired. She is inspiring.

It seems he had to fit in this interview within a tight timeframe, which is unfortunate. Still I amazed how personal she got in her replies. A remarkable woman.

I agree. She tells him this wonderfully inspiring story about her interaction with a fan who had been through so much, and then he simply thanks her for the interview. Maybe there's some editing involved, but it just feels clunky and inappropriate.

As a very young adult singer, she was quite introverted. While, I have nothing against Agnetha and she was a very lovely lady, Frida never got quite the same attention. Frida was every bit as beautiful and certainly as fine a singer. She started singing in her teens, sang in bands and then graduated to television shows, then recorded albums. She modeled, designed clothes and even had a small part in a motion picture. (See some of her early professional photos and one realizes how beautiful she was as a young lady.) She probably was the most experienced of all the ABBA musicians. She had been married early on, then divorced. Later, she met and married Benny till their divorce, during which time they took in her children. Then she married into Swedish royalty till her husband passed from cancer. Now she lives with a male entrepreneur. She is worth millions, is very athletic and works on behalf of a number of philanthropies. She is a most interesting lady.

Thank you for this interview Mr. Skavlan. And thank you for the subtitles. You now have fans around the world. You are probably the only person to interview all four Abba members at this point in their lives. The only question, why is the interview so short. It ended a bit abruptly after 15 minutes or so. With her stature I would have liked the interview to go on for the hour. Michael in Canada

That was a very moving story! I absolutely adore each member of ABBA. I have recently “rediscovered them!!! What an adventure!!! I feast upon all their recorded performances, and the lovely fan comments! When I was younger in the 70s and they were popular, all I knew was an album cover! I did not know their individual names nor anything about them! Of course there was no KZbin! I lived in Spain, and my friends teen age sons had an album!, we did not have English TV then! So this past six weeks it has been such a complete joy to revel among them!! Frida was drop dead gorgeous! Today she is gracious and well spoken, and still a beauty! I am now overcome with OCAD!! Obsessive compulsive ABBA disorder! I don’t suffer from it, but I enjoy every minute of it!

Frequently, I requested "ABBA." The music of ABBA probed at my interested in music. ABBA, I learned, was a foreign (European) music group. I wondered how they wrote lyrics using American-English words. I later discovered that ABBA is mostly Swedish, accept for Frida who is from Norway (This is what I read about Frida in a article which I was reading about ABBA at the time [1973 circa]). . On the "WHITE ALBUM" (the album with the song: Take a Chance On Me) there was a photogragh with Agnetha in silver clothes. Upon seeing the picture, I notoriously started requesting Agnetha. And that is how the requests about Agnetha got started. Frida was interesting and continues to be interesting, ever since, as well. But I was not trying to know them, when I cheered-out their name (ABBA and the blonde in ABBA) I was requesting more of ABBA's music to be produced. So, I actually focuses on Agnetha separate from the music of ABBA; I treated the name ABBA with the since interest I do hold for music; My personal life was going no where, anyway. . I tend to just stay focused on one entity (person, place or thing), at a time, to reduce conflicts that occur, when two topics cross (pro and con). Could you imagine me writing a GRADUATE THESIS on the difference between liking Agnetha and Frida. Even if the GRADUATE COLLEGE accepted the THESIS, the rumor never would. So I did not speak of Frida, Benny and Bjorn. Nor, did I try to mix-up Frida with Agnetha. Well!, Benny and Bjorn were NOT going to fit the rumors which other people spread about the FEMALE by whom I was considerd to be "bewildered and bothered." Frida would have fit the rumor, but that would create conflict between which one I like better. So, I focussed upon Agnetha. After 40 years of learning to pronounce the word (name) AGNETHA, I am just kind-of BENT in the direction of Agnetha. . Benny and Bjorn DID suit my musical interests, so rumors about music (rumors about music composition) did not phase me; Bjorn and Benny are very interesting musicians and both are an asset to music. The main object was MUSIC; So, I kept the talk about ABBA and my cheers about Agnetha separate in my mind. Most people have shown an interest in both of them (Frida and Agnetha), either one, being a divine, true, choice of ENDEARMENT, if the opportunity actually arose (Wrenching obsticles seem to happen, no matter how well two people are endeared to each other). ABBA was 3000 miles away, or further; I was not going to know them, ABBA, (personally) at that age (going on 20 years of age [circa].!) of my life, so, we were not going to meet at that time in my life, as far as I knew.
