Embla is so cute!! I wondered about her size but then you showed her with a cocker like Merry so now I can tell 😊🐶 Merry is also in a (soft) crate overnight, never a peep out of her and enthusiasm in the morning ❤ Her ritual is to tell me it‘s bedtime at 10pm and run to her crate… now I occasionally forget to zip her in and she comes out about 7 wondering why the flap is open 😂 Otherwise she sleeps till 7:30-8 or whenever I get up. I love how you love Embla!!!😊

Thank you! I hope you have a fenced courtyard for Embla to run. I slight ly panicked with her running off into the dark. I have a little black dog, she can be invisible.😊

After Embla is a little older, you might want to try leaving the dog crate door open and Embla will choose to go there to sleep. We cover our Tibetan Terrier’s crate on top and sides except for the open door, and he’s comforted in his cubby. He comes and goes in the night, no trouble because he knows to be quiet when the house is quiet. Interested that dogs like their crates when they are tired and want privacy…. Crates can be security.
