Sonny and Major Dad!! So happy you both are watching this series. I am enjoying it so much. Sad to hear it hasn't received big numbers in viewership, but I hope that changes as people hear more about it. Great story, great mystery, wonderful kids, the acting is great, and Jude Law. I believe Jod is a youngling from around the time of order 66. Can't wait for the rest of the season.❤

The first 3 episodes did a fantastic job of setting the context, introducing intriguing characters( jack, SM33, the supervisor ?), and laying out some mysteries about their planet ( may be the central bank to produce/store the credits of the old republic??? ). Now, with the adventure about to begin, we have 5 more episodes to make it truly epic! 🤞🏼

I think Jod’ pirate name, the full version, is Crimson Jack Silvo. I don’t think that Crimson Jack and Captain Silvo are separate names. Also I think that SM33 actually does know about At Attin but may have been programmed not to reveal that he does. At Attin being a hidden planet is a good , probably dark too, mystery but I do believe the “treasure “ isn’t what the pirates think it is.

"...this Peter Pan-Star Wars-Goony-Thing..and I'm enjoying it." -- Major Dad. Exactly, Sir. NEW SW LORE...COOL! So, The SWU now features a new history about The Planetary Jewels Of The Old Republic. Love it. I loved this episode. Kh'ymm has officially become one of my favorite SW characters, inside of just 1 episode. We need to know the name of that moon and its observatory, along with the gorgeous planet in its background. THOSE X-WINGS!

Id like to see more jedi like Bridger, born after the fall of the jedi but trained at least a little by a survivor of the purge

Skeleton Crew is set just after the end of Mando season 3. It has been stated that Hondo will NOT appear. But the said that about Yoda in The Acolyte. The more vehemently they deny something it often is true. So you never know

Another good one. This episode was a great lore drop for sure. I'm really enjoying this show! Glad SM-33 is back online, he's such a great character. The fact he repeated word for word that he "Can't say as I remember no At-Attin" again when it was mentioned makes me think he's for sure does and he's just programmed to hide it. I love that we got more KB this episode. She's my favorite of the four main kids, and i hope she gets more to do. I wonder if her augmentations are the result of her "urgent medical needs" as her parents put it. I think Wim's dad is realizing there's something fishy about the planet's isolation and that he and the other parents are a bit on their own in finding their kids.

19:20 Not just that. This series played the Force theme when he first used the Force. When's the last time Star Wars ever used that theme for someone who wasn't a Jedi using the Force? I don't recall it being used for the Bendu, Qimir or any Dark Side user, only Light Side Force users get to use that theme. We shouldn't overlook Jod/Captain Silvo's words and actions thus far. Jod didn't take part in commendering the Republic ship. He also didn't kill the captain. When the captain was brought to him the first thing he said to him was, "you've lost your ship. Don't lose your life." Jod gave the captain an out from certain death at the hands of the pirates in his company. Jod didn't kill any pirates on the port and he didn't kill Kh'ymm even though he could have. He went back to get Neel on the port when he was momentarilly petrified in fear, and instead of letting the kids go back to the port to get SM-33 themselves,which they threatened to do, he did it! He isn't being portrayed to be a scoundrel, but that's because he's being made to be a modern day Han Solo--how did he turn out? How were the Jedi we met after Order 66 portrayed? They had all lost hope--the most powerful Jedi of their time helped the Empire snatch hope away from them all, dooming the galaxy to tyranny. Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, and Kal Kestis all walked away from their Jedi teachings, and found mundane work on worlds away from the Core Worlds in the Star Wars galaxy. They kept their heads down, and became forgotten people, and avoided to use the Force; they embraced being a forgotten person. Jod did them one better! He allied himself with pirates, experts at evading the law while breaking it. His newfound profession allowed him to hide behind a mask and a made up name, and no one cared since they were all likely doing the same thing. Jod, however, seemingly kept a tepid connection to the Force, which likely explains his jankiness with it. Like Obi-Wan in his own series, he needs a little more time with the Force before his connection grows to where it used to be. This series takes place five years after Return of the Jedi, which takes place 23 years after Order 66. Jod's age is very likely close to Jude's age in real life, which is 51. Jod is old enough to have grown up on Coruscant in the Jedi temple like other Force users of his youth. I would be surprised if this series made Jod to be anything other than a Jedi. This isn't a sci-fi mystery like the Acolyte, but a standard Star Wars story, which have all been pretty straight forward. There was a little mystery surrounding Kanan Jarrus, but I think most correctly assumed he was a former Jedi. I think the same thing is happening here. Jod has been on the run, changing identities for his own safety, which would explain why Kh'ymm knows him as Crimson Jack, and his former pirate crew knows him as Captain Silvo. Jod didn't stay in one place for too long. I suspect we'll get more on him and At Attin next week. We have to, right? This is an eight episode series and next week is the halfway point, where things typically start ramping up. I'm more curious about Wendle, Wim's dad. While the other parents were panicking, he seemed pretty calm with his glasses off. Is he secretly, the thing Wim wishes to be? Wouldn't the Jedi have had their own on planets back in the Old Republic too, especially a world of significant importance?

feel like Jod was a padawan that survived or least force sensitive that had to go into hiding. have a feeling he might even have been part of Crimson dawn at some point

I think Jod was a youngling, and escaped. At Attin was the end of "the Path" where younglings were being hidden. Jod never made it there. That's the treasure that everyone thinks is there. And I think KB is force sensitive. The medicine she "needs" to take is probably to suppress her abilities.

interesting theory but i dont think so. the people on the planet only mention the republic and the Great works which suggests isolated potentially at least since 243BBY

I get the feeling all those planets were and had clone bases on them for the emperor...as we see troughout Startwars..once a planet or empirial clone base is discovered..they wil be destroyed.....and the planet of the kids ir run by droids...must be some empire secret project......either a credit storage or clone or relic storage for the emporor..love the serie so far ..cant wait to see where they going with it

Nice Reaction! So on At Attin they know nothing about the the Clone Wars, Order 66, the Rise & Fall of the Empire or the New Republic. They really have been living in a bubble. What is the Great Work? Who are they working for?
@bodresz3 күн бұрын
My theory: Jude Laws charachter is/was a youngling who escaped from At Attin when He was a kid too. Cause at that time At Attin could be a secret hidden planet for younglings survived Order 66. So that is how He is not a jedi, just a force sensitive adult. At the brick he said "much practice". I think His goal is to go back to At Attin and free the people there from droids. Thats the reason why He hates droids. too

It would be fun to see Hondo but just a mention would be better. Being such a fan favorite his appearance could take away from the focus of this series being seen through the kids’ eyes.
