What a great episode! I love how good this show is at paying off foreshadowing and setups from previous episodes. I knew KB was going to run into trouble, and it's so great that it was Wim who was there to help her. After his total failure trying to be a hero with the lightsaber, this is what made him a Jedi. And then Neel, so open and honest all the time, was the one to open Fern's eyes to being willing to allow down and listen. And then all of them working together to use what they've learned to fly the ship. This show is just SO GOOD! And now with two episodes to go it's a sprint to the finish with everybody heading to At Attin. Let's go!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! HERE WE GO! This episode was great. I love these kids so much! We got a little backstory for KB and I like that they paired them up with Wim and KB, and Fern and Neel. They taught each other different important things/skills. "Thank you, Jedi." was a very sweet moment. And I did not expect to cry while watching this show when KB finally told Fern of her fears and that hug was so nice. 😭💜 They all learned and grew a lot in a short time. Team work! Onyx Cinder is a cool ship! 😍 Let's see who arrives at At Attin first! Let's race! Bryce Dallas Howard is an excellent director and all her SW episodes are always fantastic. ❤

Haven't seen you guys since last year! Been so long it felt like I was getting scolded by my lady, sheesh. Gotta hand it to the writers, this is the least annoying Wim has been in any episode... or maybe the one who usually writes him was off sick for this one. Them shedding the outer layer of the ship and it looking brand new but still a huge jallopy on the inside reminded me of my old Camaro... xD This might be my favorite ep yet, LaForge is my favorite character and after the episode where her parents mentioned her special needs you just knew it was gonna play out at some point.

I think Neel would've preferred going with Wim, but he recognized (smartly) it would be better, if they were going to split up, that they stuck to being in pairs at least. if KB was going to insist on sticking with Wim/not making the climb, then I think he agreed to go with Fern mainly to ensure that no one was left alone.

She's my favorite minor character ever! Either she or a very similar looking Xi'Dec was in this episode at Skull Ridge Mountain Hotel & Spa, just as 'Jod' was emerging covered in jewels onto the landing pad. Happy New Years Gals! This episode was sooo good. KB and Fern are 2 “best friends” who aren’t old enough to realize they are madly in love with each other. KB might have had a C Spine injury requiring augs to allow her to not be a paraplegic. That explained why she had slowly limiting movement and near complete shutdown. I wish a very Healthy, Happy, Joyful and Loving 2025 for us all!
