Astrogation. My translation: Navigating astrologically...piloting a (pirate) ship through the stars...flying through the cosmos. It's a real word to me, now. Webster's, We've got a new word for your great dictionary. John, how could you possibly call episode 3, "fillery"?! If anything, it filled in some serious blanks in the story...now, We know that At-Attin is 1 of The 9 Jewels Of The Old Republic...The 9 Planetary World Wonders Of The Old Republic. That's very significant, given that seemingly 8 of them are gone/destroyed. Who/what led to their destruction? And, when did they occur? During different time periods in the galaxy's history? My SW Lore ears perk up, contemplating the factors that may have led to these planets' fates...Lord Darth Nihilus?...a secret astrological or meteorological weapon that was used on some of them? The after-effects of The Great Hyperspace Disaster? A fatal infestation of The Drengir? The Blight? A side effect from The Occlusion Zone? Kh'ymm has quickly become one of my new favorite characters in The SWU. She's quite the wise owl-cat in the universe, manning an observatory station on a moon that has an atmosphere...COOL. My guess is, she's around 100 to 300 years old, considering she knows A LOT about the galaxy. I hope she knows Maz Kanata, since she's been around for almost 1000 years, at this point in the galaxy's history. To hear those 2 talk about the universe over tea and crumpets or a beer, would be a hoot. 🦉Plus, We got to see some of the most beautiful visual effects, EVER. Those X-Wings looked gorgeous. Seeing new ion cannons on the bottom of the lasers, is so cool and lets Us know how the war is (supposedly) over. So, the pilot of the shot X-Wing is named, Kent? Cool. I hope We get a backstory on him, and see him more in the rest of The Mandoverse. The Onyx Cinder is becoming one of the coolest starships in The SWU. I still say, it strongly resembles the first starship We see in the 2021 trailer for the SW video game, Star Wars: Eclipse. I have a strong feeling that, by the last 2 episodes of this series, We will see Our kids' new ship bumping in to and engaging with some new and old ships within the MUCH WIDER galaxy. Still hope to see Slave I, The Millennium Falcon, and others, when all is said and done. I give this episode of, Skeleton Crew a 9 out of 10. It's been said that episode 4 is very Neel-centered. Looking forward to it. May The Force Be With You, Brothers. John, I like the t-shirt...Chris, love the Ewok sweater.
