Is it just me or does the droid's voice in the mint ("1,139") sound like a Kaminoan? Not saying there's any connection, just saying it's a similar sounding voice, maybe a nod to the prequels.

The fact the ships shares the same name as "Operation Cynder" granted spelling is different, points to more insidious origins linking to Palp... i hope a bigger baddie rears his ugly head in the finale, such that Jod would try to fend off, protecting the children in the process. Fingers crossed.
