Same thing but opposite result happened with Baroness, their artwork is cool but the band blows, so I didn't follow them. Now I'm seeing Skeletonwitch in October and have bought their vinyls and support the band. Not sure how that's posing. It's just how I came across them, wouldn't you agree?

It's not all about how they play, if you actually listened to the vocals you'd notice the lyrics are very black metalish just like not all blackened death metal sounds like death metal but always has those black metal type lyrics.

Save your prayers There is no God here. I believe Chance will be back in the future. Much like Chuck Shuldiner and Death, Glen Benton and Deicide, or Black Sabbath and Tony Iommi, Skeletonwitch is just not the same without Chance Garnette and his amazingly unique vocals. The new vocalist is definitely talented and does his job, but he's lacking the presence that Chance's demonic rasp had. I don't doubt the EP will sell well, as well as the new album as long as the new songs keep the signature riff style and the great ass leads as always, I think the album will do just fine.
