I've been watching this from the US and enjoying seeing how different we approach the same basic job, but it's nice to see that getting drinks with the recruit class is one thing that is exactly the same

Why would you need BA at a car fire? All you need to do is open a hose on it.

We always wear SCBA for car fires. The toxins that come off are just awful....and if water hits hot magnesium in the vehicle frame the resulting flash could burn the nozzleman quite badly. Funny...compared to hoses here in North America European fire hoses look like something I would use in my garden.

@@jasonbraida3223 they carry larger hose to but have hosereels each side which can be got to work instantly on arrival whilst the 70mm hose is being set up if required.
