Shohei hit a 420 foot home run off of him this year. But If Paul Skens would've pitch more innings to qualify for the Cy Young because he has the ERA, but how great was Ohtani as a pitcher his 2.33 ERA couple of years ago would've been the best in the majors this year better than Chris Sale 2.38, and last year batters were hitting only .184 against Shohei, Chris Sale is .212 this year.

Skenes should win the cy young. He's the only person since 1923 to have over 22 appearances and an era under 2. He started 24 games, it wasn't even like he just pitched in 22 games, he threw a fair amount of innings in that. He had a whip of .9 and an era of 1.95
