Curious, why did you put the marker on the back of the tracing paper some times and on the front other times?

A bit late but a metal rule, and mechanical pencil is as basic as you can get. You can easily get new stuff, but that is basic

If you draw water again, do some studies of actual bottles filled with water. You will see very quickly that you can get way more better looking fluids with your markers instead of just dying the water blue.

coxbright Wow, no harm intended at all mate, I'm just saying that his sketches could improve by spending some more time on the water. I didn't say "oh Spencer, you're a shit artist" did I? I'm just sharing what I've been thought in design drawing classes.
