Love the maps made out of someones clothes on the bed/floor. When my son was young and we were on holiday, he noticed his bed sheet was like a terrain and moved it around a bit to create a 3d map of the island of Corfu, where we were holidaying. He was a voracious map ''eater'' as younger person: tube maps, train maps, roads, terrain, political, globes, maps of war... VORACIOUS!

I really enjoy your films and find them inspiring. Thank you for showing these wonderful map books. Maps have fascinated me since I was a very young child, and I shall make some explorations now with art techniques.

Thanks for this overview of maps from an artist's perspective. A number of good books that I'll have to save up to buy some day. :)

I had a distant relative possibly, not sure if directly related, but may share an ancestor further back. Anyway he was a Cartographer in the Civil War.

@@SketchBookSkool lol, thanks for reading but you really didn't need to reply to that. I didn't make much of a point

What a wonderful book - don’t know if this video contributed, but it’s quite pricey these days :-) (love the autofocus too - I’m here from the future, and productionwise things have improved - but content has always been fascinating as I am finding out!)

Unfortunately I haven't just now time for that course. Is it going to be in SBS course list for some time or is it only that one which begins on June?

Well, you could sign up for it now and take it when you have time. You'll have lifetime access to all the materials. Or you could wait for it to be available on demand.
