I still have 2 of her books. Bought decades ago. They were unique at the time, and continue to be relevant, curious, beautiful. Thank you bringing her work forward.

I was so happy to see this video on Sara Midda. I purchased the South of France book when it first came out. I fell in love with her watercolors, the tiny little sketches. I'd never seen anything like that before. When you opened the book I reached right behind me where mine is and looked at it with you. I'm a watercolor artist and her book is pure joy to me. Thank you for reminding me to look at it.

On one of the pages in Sara Middas book she paints sound...I love that part of the book and it gives me pause for thought most days..drawing sound is an amazing concept! It is the same page where she draws the sky in different weathers.

I just watched this edition of the Sketchbook Club. Thank you for these videos! I loved learning about Sara Midda, and the book about David Hockney, in particular. I'm going to find these books. Sara's book is so inspiring.

I was watching Sketchbook School #12 and went to Amazon to find a copy of the fishing diary. While there I saw an ad for Sara's South of France sketchbook and ordered it instead! I then found the fishing diary on Ebay for a much better price and snagged it, too. I'd better stop spending money now, ha ha.

I really like Sara Midda's books but I wish they were bigger...hard to see the work. Vivian Swift is also a fave.

That book is also in Chinese tho, just the first one is in simplified Chinese, the other is in traditional Chinese.

I really love the content, but in lots of your videos your voice is so quiet, I wish you would speak a bit louder and don't quiet down your voice so often! It's hard to listen to.
