So real, in my opinion I find it so much harder (and more rewarding) to create art in a style I like rather than realism, but everyone else seems to be so much more impressed by my artwork the more realistic it is. I’m trying hard to get away from that!

Lovely artwork! I can totally relate to this feeling of impostor syndrome for not being able or interested to be honest in realistic art. We already have photography, can’t we just enjoy being creative and free?

I love your work with tempera. I wish we could get it here in Germany but they only sell the master class gouache. But your art pieces with talens gouache are lovely too ❤ I have the artist brand from royal talens but if I don’t use it with enough water the color is really sticky and not nice to draw with, so it’s never really opaque like when you use it 😢 maybe I just have to use even more color from the tube, I don’t know 😂 Btw I love that you are uploading so much videos, I’m having a hard time and it really calms me down. Thank you ❤

Thank you🖤 Royal Talens gouache is not very opaque, that's true. Sometimes I have to put multiple layers to cover up especially dark colors. I'm glad to know my videos are calming, wishing you all the best 🖤
