Time for a long awaited sketchbook tour! This was my first sketchbook of 2022 but probably my 30th sketchbook overall haha! Its full of ups and downs, colours and experimentation as well as, of course, the evolution of my art style and a bunch of memories!
If I’m being completely honest, I seriously am not a big fan of my art in this sketchbook (probably because I’ve come a long way since then) but I still hope you like it! I’ve already started my new sketchbook too and I have a feeling I’ll be filling it faster than the last :D
Also, sorry about my voice haha… I was still recovering from a cold when I recorded this

I like the way you draw the arms, neck, faces, and different positions. Some artists are afraid to work on that part of drawing people or people like beings. I used to draw things more which look realistic. It was so easy for me as a child to draw inanimate objects and scenery. Now I am going back into practice drawing people to see what styles I want to be more familiar with. Thanks for sharing your sketch book drawings! Maybe I'll one with just people that I'm proud to display. Right now, I have a few with a bunch of randoms, and for some reason growing up, I liked graphite and charcoal drawing so most my art doesn't have color or mor much. Now I'm experimenting with different media since I have graphite and charcoal down pretty good and familiar with acrylic painting. The coming year will be my first time having markers and oil pastels experiences. For now, I'm researching what brand most like to use and gathering my supplies so I won't have to stop when I'm inspired to use specific art media. I'll see about some of your other art videos you shared! 🤗❤️👍🏾💯

Hey tip to get out of art block ! - take your page and scribble on a pgae( it helps as it will give you the motivation and the confidence to draw again - digital drawing can help as it can sometimes feel different to drawing on paper - just wait, and take your time - watch drawing videos!!

Ok, Tips for art block: Take advice from someone who had art block before - make drawing out of doodles - make one very realistic or detailed drawing and spend a lot of time on it - maybe try and like draw characters from your favourite movies but don't take reference and just do your own style! Those are all the tips I have at the moment but anyone else suffering with art block who is reading these comments feel free to use this too! Have a fantastic day/night!
