Does Ian usually use the tomboy markers for all his preliminary drawings?

Yes, he does. He says because it mostly disappears with watercolor. The finalizes are used for permanent marks. I think he uses tombows like others use pencils.

Sad an confused as to why the thumbnail picture is different from the truck in the video. Was looking forward to seeing the thumbnail being painted. Makes ZERO sense why you would use a different painting in the thumbnail from the one in the video.
