Woww I would love to visit the exposition, what a dream 😍 his colour palettes fascinate me! Your sketches are great, hard to choose a favourite 🤭 I love the deck chairs on the first one, the vision of the people and little frames on the second one and the third one well I love all the details, I used to photograph doors/windows everywhere 💙 P.S.- you are getting pro on Procreate!

Thanks so much. I've got so many photos of doors and windows too. I just can't resist.

I watched this thing about Anderson's work and one of the people they talked to did this long explanation of his visual stye. The thing that stayed with me is that Anderson always has a flat plane. There's almost no two point perspective in things -- even in those photos, if you're looking down a hall or whatever, there'll be a flat plane at the end. It's that visual simplification and the color palette/vintagey feel that always screams Wes Anderson at me, but I didn't realize it until that film expert explained it. (I wish I could find the thing I watched, but my Google Fu isn't fu-ing today, apparently. If I find it, I'll let you know. I think you'd like it.)

It's interesting because, when you think about it, that's a very illustrative style, with the flattened perspective. I guess the colour palette too makes it look very illustrative.
