Really, thank you ! I have never made such a realistic drawing in my life, by far! It takes time, a lot of time, around 8 hours for me, but the result is there, even though I am only a beginner. I didn't think I would do so well.

@ulyssecordier5 ай бұрын
@@_msrsomethingserious_ First I did exactly the one in the video, and after spending some time on it, it came out really clean. I also applied this method to other faces. The first few times, there may be a few mistakes, but with a bit of practice, you'll get other faces just as well using this method. The hardest part is the hair.

Hello, I'm going to write this as professionally as I can, to help illustrate the gravity and graciousness of your art. To start with the small effects: The sounds are calming, almost hypnotic, I often use similar ocean sounds to help me sleep. These relaxed tones not only help you relax, they invoke certain aspects of culture that can influence your art. Music is a great gateway into visual art, and the sounds you've chosen are great for these relaxed videos. The gentle yet precise strokes of the pencil make me think of the precise and methodically placed slices of pepperoni that would be spread upon a great pizza. This pizza would entice and fulfill the notions of the tribe, where the elders sought peace and understanding, we have placed a light yet crispy crust, with just right amount of salt. Where they struggled for rights and independence, we placed a tangy marinara and Italian seasoning. And where they fought for what the great ones left them, we spread meat and cheese, and we baked that struggle at 400°c for around 15 - 20 mins. Where upon we would check if the many ingredients of pizz..I mean peace..had been assembled per the teachings of the great...Papa John. I...may have got distracted..my apologies.

I love your tutorials... very informative... May I be so bold as to make a suggestion? I've been looking across youtube and the internet for free portrait drawing tutorials for my 11 year old who is interested in art and drawing. There seems to be a serious lack of REAL TIME portrait drawing (like 1 to 2 hours per portrait and only 1 to 3 pencils used). She's mastered basic outline sketching, but I'd like her to learn to do realistic shading with just a couple different graphite pencils, but there seems to be no tutorials for this. If you ever decide to make a playlist of REAL TIME PORTRAIT DRAWING from start to finish with just a couple pencils for simplicity, I'll share it across all my homeschooling audience groups I'm in on social media. I know this would be of interest to many. It seems like tons of artists are speeding their videos up (which is no help to beginners) or going super deep on only one part like just sharing techniques on eye's or skin or nose etc... no one is actually doing a 1 to 2 hour portrait drawing video (I've actually only found 3 videos so far on youtube and can't find more)... sorry for the long winded rant! All the best with your art channel. Your tutorials are very good.

Grids are fixed. ……. this is tailer made
@robertjackson301 Жыл бұрын
@@neelumahendra4695 This is too brief to make sense. Can you explain why it’s tailor made please?
@mohitsrivastav3554 Жыл бұрын
@@robertjackson301 the method he used does require measuring the image but only some parts. Others need a good hand - eye coordination. There are many artists who draw without measurement. Grid method makes you measure everything, because every line you place, you have to consult the grid. Grid method gives no development to your hand eye coordination and neither is it good for study, since you don't simplify the object I hope you understand
@robertjackson301 Жыл бұрын
@@mohitsrivastav3554 The idea of copying a photograph is to produce as close as possible a facsimile of the photograph and the closer you achieve that goal the more satisfied you are. When you draw or paint a real life model you are attempting much more and I have seen people who are very good at the former and pretty useless at the latter.
@mohitsrivastav3554 Жыл бұрын
@@robertjackson301 Another reason why grid method is not a good option. You cannot place grid on real life models. It boils down to measure by hand and hand eye coordination. And drawing from photograph need not always be 100%. Some prefer to add their own features while some try to add rhythm and flow to a photograph. Regardless of the motive, one thing is common. Grid method holds you back. Believe me. I talk from experience
