It's nice to see how Sketchup is used for Event planning. I also use it for our company to build out trade show booths for our clients. We build out the booth in real time while on a call with client. Then share the layouts via a Trimble connect web link. Thus the clients can share and "walk around" their booth with other stake holders within their company. Not only has it increased our productivity, it has reduced the time spent laying out and rendering as well as the approval process by a factor of 10.

Nice presentation, thanks for sharing. I like the tips on marking up the tablet pics as you go. The quick texture creation tutorial was helpful as well. I use the LIDAR feature (Canvas) on the iPad for smaller spaces, even outdoors. The dimensions are really accurate and the images are captured along with the point cloud for the "what was there" reference. Your stadium project looked like a lot of fun, and y'all produced a great looking model!
