Great work and really nice video! I recently switched to using Jamghe High Wax Plus resin as well, and I've been getting great castings with it.

Do you notice this resin degrade over time in the bottle? I print fine on the Solus pro but the castings aren't burning out well at all. 'I was getting great results at first growing and castings. Even with .2mm sphere supports during growing. Now, the resin was purchased 6-8 months ago, I am getting A lot of rough surfaces and pitting. Complete crap now.

Thank you so much for a great review! I've read somewhere with this green type of casting resins it is not recommended to pour the resin back into the bottle? Are you pouring it back in the bottle and have not had any problems? Really curious. Thanks again for such great work.

How do I use the hex grid base? is there a setting in Elegoo?
@SterlingKissesАй бұрын
@@billmusik9794 no, it's a model file you can download from thingiverse. Just import it into your slicer like any other model. Turning off rafts on your supports might help too. Here's a link to the hexbase www.thingiverse.com/thing:6562564

Hello, I'm from Russia. They have the same printer and the same resin. I set the same settings for printing. But the resin does not stick to the table! And at the bottom of the bath there remains a small flat spot. Please help me with advice on what I should do?🙏🙏🙏
@SterlingKissesАй бұрын
@@ЕгорАстахов-х1ф if heating the build plate, using a hex base (as seen around the 2:10 mark), and increasing the exposure time has not helped, you could try applying a ptfe lubricant to the film. Just apply a small amount onto a microfiber cloth and rub it on the film, then wipe off any excess.
@ЕгорАстахов-х1фАй бұрын
@@SterlingKisses I set the bottom exposure time to 100 seconds. But I don’t have such support, it’s only in the pro version... it looks like you need to set it to 150 seconds. There are also micro scratches on the film, but I think that this does not affect the work, there are few of them and they are small. In general, I’m tormented by this purchase, it looks like I should have been on the websites of ready-made wax models 😂

Could I ask what investment you used? With that massive of a print it’s crazy to see no cracks in the envestment

Hey mate, really enjoy your content. Top tier advice, in a really easy to understand enjoyable form. What is the best castable resin you would suggest working with? I have been using Siraya tech True Blue, which casts well but does not print as well as a Power resin for example. Is there any resin that you enjoy working with most for printing and castability? Thanks
@SterlingKisses4 ай бұрын
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoy the videos. I've been using the Jamg He a bit more than anything else because of the ease of cleanup and curing compared to True Blue. Though Blue does have the better price point.
@lukegaffney65112 ай бұрын
Hey, Do you find that this resin prints better / with more accuracy than Siraya Blue?
@SterlingKisses2 ай бұрын
Jamg He might have a slight edge with prints being a little sharper, but its really not that noticeable. The clean up and curing process is easier and faster with Jamg He over Siraya Blue though.

We have experience and it is more recommended jamghe by the amount of wax it has for casting
