Love my Intuition wrap liners! Work great in my Dalbello boots.

I only have experience with the ZipFit. It works for me as I am on my second pair. I use the Corsa, the low volume racer version. Good review. Thanks.

I hoped he would say something about the wrap part of the liner. Gives the wrap more performance?

So I’m one of those few with a boney point on the top of my foot. Every shell I’ve had puts pressure on it. Never done custom liners but very intrigued by the Intuition liners. For someone like me with the boney point on top of my foot would any Intuition liner help or just the wrap style? Your the only video I can find talking about this so Thank You! Not really any custom shops in NC.....

I have the exact same thing going on with my feet - especially my right foot. Basically, what I do when I get new boots, is I use a vice-grip, and I spend at least an hour on the exact part of the tongue where the bone sits below, and I use the grips to squeeze down this part of the tongue, clamping the grip to the tongue, and letting it sit there for 30 seconds at a time, over and over and over. I then put the boots and the liners in the oven, warm them for 5 to 10 minutes, and while warming, I tape the thickness of about 3 quarters of material to the top of this bone, then socks go on over the bone spacer pad (I use hockey tape to make the thickness or use a felt pad that goes on the bottom of furniture legs to prevent floor scratches), and then I camp the hot boot and liners on as tight as a can for as long as I can take it. I will do the entire thing again a few days later, vice grips on tongue, heated boots and liner in oven, pad on the bone, boots on as tight as possible until you are basically crying in pain. For me, I have a 100% success rate now with this process.

I came to this video exactly to see if a intuition wrap liner would help with the thing sticking out of the top of my foot that seems to get compressed and cause my toes to go numb lol. i wasn't actually expecting for the issue to get directly addressed.

Very bad description of the Intuition liner, the best liner out there. A warm, performance, comfortable liner. He's more interested in selling the more expensive liners.
@denisobrien699 Жыл бұрын
The Intuition liner is way too soft and squishy for a ski racer and takes up a lot of space in a boot for a narrow forefoot. It’s ok for ski weekenders, seasonaires and ski tourers but the other choices on offer have much higher response to foot and leg movement.
@rickden8362 Жыл бұрын
@@denisobrien699 Not sure you know what you're talking about. Have you even tried Intuition liners. Yes, Intuition is not a race liner, but injected foam race liner are not what you want to ski in all day, and as the guy here says , they are NOT warm(or even particularly comfortable). I've had Zip Fit but it wasn't as good as the intuition. An if you think the Intuition isn't a performance fit, look at all the top freestyle skiers that use them. Intuition offers a performance fit that is comfortable and warm. I usually never need to unbuckle all day. If you watch skiers/racers with foam boots, the first thing they do is unbuckle the second they get to the lift. Cheers

Do you have experience in the other liners or are you just scoffing at their price tag because you have one you like?
@rickden8362 Жыл бұрын
@@drewhuemmler Yes, I have experience with other liners. I love my Intuition liners, wouldn't ski without them. I've had Zip fit liners and foam liners and my post offers my experiences with those liners and my observations of others with those liners. I have nothing financially to gain in any of this. One note on comp foam liners: several racers I know that raced on foam fit boots had second set of non-foam fit to free ski because the foam fit was just not that comfortable for all day skiing, other opinions may vary. Cheers.

Trying out the intuition liner Zip fit liners Well for $200 more dollars I can buy a new pair of boots Foam liners Well the foam eventually degrades Not good longevity Keeping my fingers crossed
@Starthaus6 ай бұрын
You aren't totally wrong there, but ZipFits will outlast the shells (and you can carry them over to a new set when it's time). Once you get a set of ZipFits dialed, you'll want them forever! =D Intuitions are great for the right situation, but you are correct- they won't last much longer than a stock set of liners.
@KA-ne2et6 ай бұрын
@@Starthaus I hear ya Good points Maybe zip fits next time - we ll see what happens with the intuition liners they broke in at about the 6 day mark Now very comfortable I do think they feel like better quality than stock liners but we’ll see how they wear over time I am learning as I go It’s what makes the adventure fun
